Secretary Stuff

This article is about having your show displayed on
the Evergreen District Master Calendar and ASCAP fees.
The first step is to fill out the Request Form
located at www.evg.org under ‘shows and
events’ and ‘master calendar’. That form will come to me and I will verify your
date is available and email that confirmation back to you. THAT WILL NOT PLACE
YOUR SHOW ON THE CALENDAR.
You must then fill out Form 3016 Application for
Show Clearance BMI and SESAC License and send it to me with your check made out
to ‘Barbershop Harmony Society’ for $28 per show. THEN, your show will be added
to the Master Calendar.
As for the ASCAP fee – that is paid once a year,
normally at the end of the year after you have completed all of your paid
performances. If your total ticket sales do not exceed $48,000
for all chapter shows then you pay the minimum amount $219.00. Again,
make out that check to BHS and send it to me, for record purposes, and I will
in turn send it in to the Society.
