THE KIDS DID
IT AGAIN!!
Hi,
everyone. Just a quick note (more to follow later). Thank
you to everyone who made last month's Harmony Explosion camp the best we have
ever had!!! :)
The
students were outstanding both on and off the risers, putting on the best HX
show ever
Our
Staff and Student Staff did their usual fantastic job (we love you!)
Pacific
Lutheran University once again made sure we had what we needed to make it all
work
Max
Q went out of their way to sing for the students on Friday and answer all their
questions, then blew us away on the Saturday night show (hire them for your
show, I guarantee you won't be disappointed)
Donations
from you, the members of the Evergreen District and surrounding Sweet Adelines Choruses and members, made it happen. Also, thanks
to all of you who came to the Saturday night show. It really means a lot to the
kids to see so many in the audience.

I
would like to add the Rogue Valley Harmonizers to the list. I received your
check at registration and didn't get a chance to get it in the program. Thanks,
guys.
Also,
thanks to Pete Gasparrelli for his coffee can drive
to raise money for scholarships, and to Ross Reed for promoting
the camp to schools in the Anacortes area.
One
more - Thanks to the Totem-Aires for handling ticket sales and will-call once
again, you guys are amazing; to Mike Lazik for
loading and transporting risers; to Walt Paulsen for all his financial
expertise and help; and to Richard Simmons and Janet Brookman
for your help throughout the year, and for filling in at camp. We love all our
Tacoma family!!!
I'm
going to thank our Staff once again for all the work they do throughout the
year to promote, raise money, find students, and represent the camp. Your
dignity and class show people what being a barbershopper is all about. You
Raise Us Up, and we love you.
If
you contributed to Harmony Explosion, but don't see your name on the list,
please let me know. When you are dealing with 160 students and their parents,
sometimes things get a little crazy, and I don't want to leave anyone out.
Hmm,
I guess that wasn't such a quick note after all. :)
