New Director for Abbotsford

On behalf of the Abbotsford Voices Of Harmony, I'm thrilled to formally announce that as of August 1 2010, the VOH will be under the direction of John Newell. If you don't recognize the name look no further than your 2005 International Quartet Champions, Realtime. John comes to us with a wealth of knowledge and credentials. We look forward to him taking the VOH in a new direction and to new heights with a fresh, invigorated focus. More information on our rehearsals with John and rehearsal location to come in the next few weeks.

With that said, I would at this time like to thank former director Sean Huston for all the time and hard work he's put in for the past 4 years. Without your time and efforts, I personally, along with the others members of the chorus would not have grown nearly as much musically during our time with you. Sean, not only are you my lead in a Quartet, but you are also one of my closest friends, and I will cherish our relationship as it continues to grow.
